Meet the team.
Jackie Eason.
‘I live in Wadebridge with my family and have been involved in Sports coaching since 2000. I have coached many sports including gymnastics and sailing but decided to specialise in cycling a couple of years ago.
There were many reasons for this decision. Mainly, as my boys have grown up I have seen how important their cycling has been to them. They have gained fitness, independence and lots of fun from their bikes.
I am also a school governor and was asked to write our schools’ travel plan. This highlighted to me how much children would like to ride their bikes to school and how much of a problem the congestion at the school gates has become.
Add to this concern about fitness levels, childhood obesity and the environment and I knew where I wanted to focus my work. The bonus is that training people to be confident riding on the roads is rewarding, interesting and great fun.
I am a qualified National Standards instructor and have trained over 700 children (so far!)’
